Chowdown Report - Hwaro Korean restaurant in the Excelsior, Outer Mission

Six of us this evening sampled a new Korean restaurant — Hwaro — in the Excelsior in the Outer Mission.
We ordered the following and tab w tip came to $25/per person:

Small plates:

Corn Cheese - corn and mozzarella cheese
Rice Cake Skewers - fried w/sweet spicy sauce

Larger Plates:

Sweet-Spicy Fried Chicken
Kimchi Pancake
Japchae - clear noodles, vegetables, grilled marinated beef
Pork Belly in garlic sauce
Eel - marinated and grilled

Hangover Soup - Napa cabbage, beef, vegetable

Makgeolli (wine) - "Ildong" unfiltered and fermented rice wine milky color
