My sister just moved to Caton Avenue in Brooklyn, near the Church Ave F train stop. Yesterday we walked along Church Ave and bought pierogis at a Polish grocery store near there, and shared a basil seed drink from a Chinese grocery. The bodegas have great produce and food items from all over the globe. It seemed like there is great potential in the neighborhood but that there will be quite a lot of sifting to do before she finds the great chow. Can any of you veteran 'hounds recommend anything wonderful in that neighborhood in terms of restaurants or take-out or food carts or bakeries, etc.? Or which of the many Polish groceries has the best kielbasa?
