Now THAT is chopped liver (epilogue)

So there I am, peeking in the fridge with everyone's (which were excellent, btw)ideas swimming in my head on how to doctor this dry bland chopped liver into something I can love again. Duh! Duh! Duh! Right behind the mayonnaise is half of my mom's roast chicken and potatoes SWIMMING in smaltz!

While this may be a sin, there was some lemon juice, oregano, and olive oil in the rendered shmaltz. ANYWAY, a nice dose of shmaltz and kosher salt later I had, without question, the smoothest, richest, and most flavorful chopped liver I have ever had. Can you believe the answer was in front of me the whole time!?

Anyway, that is what, at least in my opinion, this board is about.
