On my way out of town in October, I stopped for a morning brew at the OG East Sacramento location of Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters. Previously, I'd enjoyed a flat white at its downtown coffee bar (https://www.chowhound.com/post/flat-w...).
Misty Valley Yirgacheffe dry process Ethiopian beans were available as a pour over. The flavor profile surprised me by being more chocolatey than fruit forward, almost to the point of tasting muddy. Not my favorite.
I also picked up a bottle of chilled flash brew to take home for the next day. Probably loses something overnight, but this was more complex and satisfying than the pour over had been.
