We've been going to one of those glass-fronted places on Bayard St. for years and I thought I should share the good news. It has ducks hanging in the window, roast pork, chickens and enough formica to say "Come on in, we're cheap." But it's also really good. All the noodle dishes are wonderful. The winner for us is the two lobsters in garlic & ginger sauce. They also prepare it with black bean sauce, which is slightly spicier. The menu has enough choices and though the surroundings are not much to speak of, the food is terrific. Service is efficient and pleasant too. The two lobsters are under $30. Noodle dishes are around $6. There are plenty of things prepared on rice that are $5 or so. They have beer and soda.
