My friend have posted two reviews in which were taken off, so here is another review from my POV.
We are a group of friends who would travel in search of new food finds.
Last Friday was horrible, exception for their bowls of white rice and brown rice.
We ordered:
Schechuan Dumpling (From the texture of the meat, well, let's just say that I've tasted better frozen dumplings. The sauce left a bitter aftertaste that lingers.) Edamame with sauce (difficult to eat, tasted ok, prefer to have with with coarse seasalt.) Lettuce cups (It tasted sweet, nothing but sweet, comes with a side of, yes, sweet sauce.)
Noodle with peanut sauce (I actually enjoy this because it has a flavor other than sweet.)After reviewing the menu we decided to settle with the standard of Beef Brocolli, Mongolian Beef (which is very similar in flavour, again, tasted sweet.) Chinese Chicken Salad (Left a bitter aftertaste.) Banana Shrimp Curry (Bland, and the shrimp was bad. Only a 1/4 portion was tried. This curry dish left a sticky/slimy glue like consistency, I assume it's the incorporation of the banana. Bad shrimp=tasted sour.)Lastly, Pork-chop dish, which I did not try.
Service was both good and bad. Hostess is not very happy with us, but the rest of staff was very nice and attentive.
Happy Eating
