A new Mexican Bistro has opened in Rockwall, TX. Called Chiloso, Its tag line is: It's Simple. We Serve Fresh, Bold Flavored, Mexican Food. From the looks and taste of it they are doing just that. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this spot and they have yet to disappoint.

Breakfast - Three stuffed flour tortillas with an array of choices that you select from: eggs, chorizo, bacon, roasted chilis, refried beans, potatoes and the like. The server makes them in front of you, do you can say a little more of that and less of that. Three pack of tacos $5.00 that includes a coffee or soft drink. Do forget the salsas there are 4, the Verde is a great side for the eggs.

Lunch/Dinner – Tacos 3 ways, soft corn, flour or crispy corn. With a selection of meats to fill them, roasted pork is the best, but I have yet to try the barbacoa. All these tacos can be made burrito style or in a salad.

There are daily specials, i have had the fish tacos (grilled talapia, cabbage, roasted chilis, a light cilontro cream fresh) and the port tortas all were super.

This is walk up counter service, with plenty of tables and stools. The décor is deep earth tones and a cheerful staff to round it out. Can be crowded at peak times. But the service is quick.

Worth the drive from Mesq,Garland, Rowlett and Greenville.
