I Love fried chicken. My new years resolution for 2015 & 2016 was to eat more fried chicken than the previous year. I did well. Bufallo wings don't count. Neither did boneless chicken fingers/tenders. I prefer on-the-bone. I don't eat nuggets.
This brought about a challenge by a friend who considers chicken fingers/tenders "comfort food". Often ordering the chicken fingers and fries at the office building crapeteria. Those that come prepared and frozen from the industrial factory.
He says we can find good chicken fingers/tenders in an independently owned and operated place on Long Island. Made in-house.
That omits Chick-fil-A and KFC.
I suggested a personal favorite, Wings-N-Things in Hempstead. I only know of two locations, so I'm counting them in his favor.
I've heard Crown halal in Hicksville has good chicken, the online menu doesn't state that they have tenders/fingers.
Any suggestions Chowhounds?
