I'd like to run this topic by the group, devoted foodies that you are.
I've been searching for two recipes that I've not had any success in finding, not even on other recipe/food-oriented sites.
I'm seeking a recipe for chicken financier,a chicken and truffle dish popular in Belle Epoque Paris. I'd also like to know how to make gondolas, a boat-shaped pasta, stuffed with cheese(?) in a cream sauce that I enjoyed over a decade ago in a lovely restaurant called Benito's in Union,N.J. Might there also be any restaurants in NYC that serve these dishes? Any info will greatly appreciated.
