I'm new to this board, so I apologize if this ground has been covered before. My grandmother made the best Braciole I've ever tasted. She made her's southern Italian style with hard boiled eggs and raisins (among other things).
It's hard to find Braciole in Chicago. I've had it at a couple of Italian restaurants (La Fontenella on South Oakley & another place on Lincoln Ave across from the movie theatre in Lincoln Sqare), but so far nothing comes close. Can anyone offer suggestions for me?
