Soon-to-be Chicagoans looking for place to spend others' money and one b-day splurge!

Hello fellow 'hounds,

We are in the process of moving to Chicago and will be up over Easter weekend to apartment-hunt. While we're there, however, we will need 2 great dinners and a brunch recommendation!

First, we have a $125 gift card to the LEYE restaurants... what do you all recommend? I am leaning towards Nacional 27, but am up for advice and feedback on any others...

Also, we're celebrating my husband's birthday that weekend and I'm looking for a fabulous place to take him Saturday night. I have reservations at Cafe Spiaggia, but I know there are many others I'm overlooking. Doesn't have to be Italian (we love just about anything), it just has to be phenomenal! Would like to keep it under $150 for 2, including tip and maybe a glass of wine for each of us. We are staying at the Intercontinental, but will have a car and also can do the El or cab it...

Lastly, any Sunday brunch ideas(not necessarily for Easter, as we will not be celebrating the holiday)?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations! We can't wait to be living in Chicago!!!
