Trying for Per Se, but if we cannot get in, what else can you recommend for top end dining, preferably nothing "old school" so to speak. Have thought about Daniel, Jean George, Nobu. What are your thoughts? Location does not matter.

Also looking for a very good sushi place where we can get creative maki and some more interesting dishes, but don't want to spend more than $50 or $55 per person including drinks. Again, location not a big deal.

Also looking for interesting/unusual breakfast choices, preferably midtown or upper east or west side.

Wondering whether to try WD-50 another night. I want "different" and it sounds different. Am I right? If we go, do they have tasting menus?

Finally, since I'll be in NY for 5 nights, any other mid-priced recs -- perhaps newer places or places that are outstanding but perhaps not as well known.

Thanks for all of your help!
