Chez Papa

Had dinner at Chez Papa last week. While this restaurant presents itself as upholding traditional french cuisine, in actuality the food reflect more some misguided attempt at incorporating nouvelle cuisine elements. Reservations are accepted, but only constitute a mere formality, a 30 minute wait past the reservation seems to be the norm. The quality of the food is quite mixed while our appetizer, mussels with french fries was excellent, however the entrees: bouillabaisse and halibut were somewhat disappointing, lacking in flavour and of questionable texture.
