An overly ambitious foray into a chestnut orchard resulted in 15 lbs. of fresh chestnuts. We love them simply roasted (tried nuking which works fine). I'd love to make something different with them and I know that they are going to be ok in the frig/freezer for some time, but I'd love to see some of your favorite recipes, especially if someone has a great ravioli filling or soup. Googling yielded several interesting possibilities but I'd love to see what my fellow Chowhounds have to suggest... Thanks in advance.
