I know there are those that eat this as a guilty pleasure, and those that actually like it. I'll admit to eating plenty of it growing up, but would never touch it now. I was watching a show on canned foods and they did a piece on Boiardi, an Italian immigrant that started a restaurant on the 20's. It was very popular and ten years later they started a serious canning operation. I wonder if the restaurant food resembled what was in those first cans and how much the canned product has changed over the years. Anyone old enough to remember what the early version were like?
