I was looking over a copy of the Santa Monica Star this morning, (a little freebie newspaper) when I noticed a nice mention of Caseificio Gioia, (Joyous Creamery) in Lauren Hunter's "Food for Thought" column.
Gioia has been mentioned on this board more than once as one of the best cheese makers in LA, especially when it comes to things like their burrata.
But while doing a bit of online search for Gioia I came across this linked site to Southern Calif. cheese makers and thought it would be a good resource posting for the board.
If you don't like it all I can say is "Gee, (cheese) Whiz!" (g)
