Checking Temps

ciolosilver | Nov 23, 201410:59 AM     6

I've set my PolySci immersion circulator to 66C (according to my conversion app that means 150.8F). But when I use my Thermapen, AND two other reliable temp probes, they all read between 144.5 and 146. So that's three temp probes all about the same but pretty different than the PS. Which would you trust as accurate? The PolySci guys got very huffy when I asked them and reminded me that they are the standard by which everything else is judged. But this seems odd to me. Anyone have ideas?
