Are cheap food processors worth it?

welfare christmas | Feb 10, 2006 04:08 PM

I'm interested in using a food processor very, very occasionally. I wouldn't need to buy a two hundred dollar model.

IfI buy one of the cheap $30-$40 dollar models from K-Mart, is it going to fall apart the third or fourth time I use it or would it be OK for very occasional use at a decidedly sub-professional level? (say, for making bread dough or something of that nature?)

Thanks in advance!
