I'm planning a trip to Tennessee, 4/16-4/19, and would like the expert opinion of some of the people on this message board to hit some good chowplaces. The first day I will be flying into Nashville and driving to Chattanooga in the morning, so for lunch I'm thinking a place on I-24, Murfreesboro perhaps. Then two days in Chattanooga; staying downtown but willing to travel to some of the outlying areas if necessity dictates. Sunday or Monday I return to Nashville, possibly stopping in Lynchburg for Jack Daniel's, and I need a good breakfast and lunch place in Nashville.
I plan to focus on BBQ and southern staples almost exclusively, and I do admit a prediliction for Picadilly Cafeteria (love the carrot souffle!). I appreciate and restaurant, cuisine, or even other touristy advice you're willing to share with me. Incidentally, does anyone know of any mini-golf courses in the greater Chattanooga/Nashville area?
Thanks, Ted S.
