I attended a function @ Chateau in No.Andover, this weekend and it was awful!! I'm sure there will be some who love them but, OMG, how difficult is it to make a decent Chicken Parm?? They use the 'frozen patty types' of chix......and pour sauce and top it off with cheese. Plus, watered sauce added to the ziti. Ate very little.....yuck!! Perhaps it was just the function food but.......not good.
Also, waitstaff less than attentive. Waitress was annoyed that people wanted more coffee.
Hubby got up and got the carafe to serve some guests. When the waitress arrived she comment that, 'you're doing my job'! He responded, " someone had to do it!" Snide, sure, but she couldn't have cared less. A guest asked for a diet coke. Her response, ' you'll have to go to the bar and get it.' When he cooled off, he went to the bar and the bartendar said it was 'open bar'. Now, why couldn't she have told him that? Nasty.
What happened to 'customer service' training??
