Feeling very pleased with myself, pork strips already marinating in the fridge, etc. then I reread the recipe, and think I go it wrong.
They talk about 'strips'1 1/2-2 inches wide. I think the 'wide' part confused me (and the fact that it's cooked for an hour), because I cut the pork shoulder into long chunks 3 inch long, 1 inch high and 1.5 inch wide.
am I correct? was I supposed to do narrow strips 1.5 in high? More importantly, how much longer should I cook it this evening? Should I lower the temp? I am clueless with pork.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
