We have some less-than-good-luck with some of our vacations as of late. Things like evacuation for a tsunami in Hawaii, Hurricane Sandy in NYC, Boston for the Marathon this year...you get the picture.
Anyway, coming up soon is our trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion, which is also looking problematic with the government shutdown. However, we have a non-refundable RV rental, so we are going somewhere down there and need to stock up on some food items to take with us as we will be doing all of our own cooking.
I know about Whole Foods and we will likely end up there, but I am interested in any good places to get quality meat/fish, in particular, places that might put a value on sustainably/humanely raised products.
We will be shopping on Saturday, Oct 12th, so any local farmer's markets open that morning would also work (especially if they sell farm-fresh eggs).
Appreciate any help in advance!
