I hope some of you Alinea fans might be able to answer this. I have asked the restaurant twice to fax me a copy of the sparkling section of the wine list, with no luck, and I'm there tomorrow.
My husband (not much of a wino) prefers Champagne, + I thought it might match well with so many different courses.
But, I don't want to bury my nose in the list once we get to the restaurant, so if anyone can suggest a great sparkler that's a good value, i would appreciate it. I would like to set an $80 limit if that's possible.
Or should I just do the pairings instead? TIA
