Champa Thai and Sushi

This is a new restaurant that has opened in the Briar Creek shooping center near the movie theater. I'm always cautious of restaurants that have ethnically mixed culinary choices but my love of thai food got the best of me-- and it was just lunch so how much harm could be done, right?

I came away very happy from this place. My order came with a small but deliciously spicy cup of coconut soup with tofu. My lunch was order was grilled beef salad. This was a large portion of tender grilled beef with lettuce, cucumber, julienne carrots, purple onions and cilantro with a spicy, lime, fish sauce dressing. It also came with a bowl of rice, which I had absolutely no room for. I was pleased that this place was not afraid of spicing things up. All of this for $7.95 is a very good deal.

I took a look at their dinner menu while I was there. It didn't have a wide variety of choices, like say Thai Palace, but what they did offer sounded tempting. Perhaps it better to prepare fewer dishes well than vice versa. I will defintely be back and I encourage you to give this place a try.
