Chameau vs. Yi cuisine vs. other?

hungryfina | Feb 15, 2006 07:37 PM

So I know they're really different, but I just can't choose. I am going to providence the previous night and I want something fun, hot, no too casual, young, and trendy and preferably ethnic for the next night.
I wanted Santa Monica or malibu- but I couldn't really find what I was looking for there (Any suggestions?)
I'm a HUGE Koi fan, so I thought yi sounded good (same chef and all). But I'm a little worried that yi isn't going to be young enough, or feel very chic/lively.
I love morroccan, and I've heard a lot of good stuff about chameau, but I'm also worried about the chic/young part here. I like feeling like I'm where the action is, and this might be a little too neiborhoody for me - Plus the neon decorations seem a little over the top.
Other ideas?
