Chains That Can Deliver a Good Product

Sometimes a chain can fill a need. Met out of town friends in the Sagemore Shopping Plaza in Jersey, on Route 73, around Marleton. They suggested PJChangs, for lunch, and I wasn't expecting much.

Service was pleasant and attentive; noise level wasn't too bad. Portions generous, and some of our food choices were actually very tasty. Dry-rub Spareribs for $7.50 proved to be yummy, and relatively ungreasy; ample portion of 6 meaty ribs. Shared main dish of sea bass poached in tea was lovely, on a bed of spinach and baby corn. Hubby enjoyed his Asian Chicken Salad; friend's order of large shrimp in lobster sauce was generous, and he was quite satisfied. We wound up sharing one tasty order of chocolate cake with accompanying fruit sauce that was plenty for the six of us.

For an inexpensive meal that can't be replicated at home, give me a Popeye's anytime.
