On the theory I'm only young once, am celebrating my 50th by bringing a crowd with me to New York, first wkend in May. Could be 12-18 people, still waiting for cfms. Age ranges from 13-60, no picky eaters, includes a vegetarian or two. Everyone's paying their own way, but not all in same tax bracket. Wanna have a dinner on the Saturday night with all of us together, there are 3 birthdays in this crowd. We're noisy, but in a fun and inclusive way!
Need someplace that will accommodate our crowd, but not shut in private room, else why come to NYC??? Thinking $50-75/head (not including booze) would work. Looking at staying somewhere between 30th/Broadway and 50th/Park (still working that out, too), so if it's anywhere within 15-20 minute cab ride, we're cool.
Haven't been to NY for 18 years, so any restaurant I ate in then has probably died, hence, to the 'Hounds! Thanks all.
