"Catfish Roundup" - on the south side of I-40 in Oklahoma just south of Prague. I took my mother there for her 82nd birthday Saturday (after a trip to a Renaissance fair so she could get her picture taken with pirates). It was an impulse stop, we just saw the signs and she loves catfish.

I'm telling y'all because everybody I've told around here already knows about it.

They distribute apple fritters for appetizers, and another girl (they must employ half the high school) distributes hot clover rolls right out of the oven.

We got the "Okie Catfish" plate, good simple slaw, overcooked baked potato (I'll try the fries next time), regular round hushpuppies with bits of jalapeno
and perfectly fried catfish. The breading was simple crunchy cornmeal with a little bit of a buttery flavor. There is an "all you can eat" catfish deal for about $8. Ours was around $5.
