Catch 22 in ashland, the former front st. opened monday. a beautiful renovation of a tatally drab space. the bar has lots of cherry ad mahogany wood, nice shine with french doors opening to the patio to accomodate smokers. dining room, not as but still inviting, but it's not open yet.
they only had a limited bistro menu. ab beers and sam, guinesss, bass eyc on tap, reasonable wine list . we flat sam and conch y toro sauv blanc.
fried calamari was crisp, cheery peppers chopped fine and undiscernable as was the advertised garlic. excellent arugula and spinach salad with apples, pecans and pancetta, evoo balsamic dressing.panini with prosciutto, mozzarella na dbsai(had to ask for it) was barely warm on mediocre sub roll. lemon gelato ball for dessert was very good, but served with chocolate sauce, after we informed them of a choc allergy. will post when the dr opens
