Caspian Grill in Lafayette Hill

A new take-out place has opened in Lafayette Hill on Germantown Ave. in the little strip mall that includes the Market at Lafayette Hill, and the deli. It is owned by the people who own the middle eastern food stand in the Flourtown farmer's market which has always been a favorite with us. They will be making flatbread on a special oven imported from India, fresh grilled kabobs and food from Mexico, India, Italy, and the Middle East. A strange combination, but it doesnt lack for variety. So far we have sampled their hummus, baba ganoush, yogurt with garlic and cucumbers, spinach with feta cheese, and samosas. They are not making the kabobs or the bread yet. Everything was delicious. It is a welcome addition to an area were there are few choices for take-out food.
