Melanie Wong | Jul 27, 201805:07 PM     4

Salvation Army has begun meal service at Carr Fire evacuation center at Shasta College (11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA 96003) and Weaverville Elementary School in Weaverville.

Bleachers Sports Bar & Grill with sponsorship from R & R Meats is giving away a burger and fries to fire evacuees. Kitchen open until 10:30pm. This will likely continue through the weekend but that is not confirmed. Show your ID for proof of address in the fire area. 2167 Hilltop Dr A, Redding, CA 96002

Shout out to From the Hearth that provided free meals last night. https://fromthehearth.splickit.com/

UPDATE: Meals will continue to be free for fire evacuees at From the Hearth for the time being. It is asking that patrons who can may pay it forward with donations to continue this service.
