Passover's coming, and I was talking to my shrink about making gefilte fish. She said VerBrugge had the requisite carp and pike and whitefish last year, but that they were $14 a pound! I told her the hounds could probably help her out. Anyone have a recommendation on where to score these fish? If one were to try a Chinese market (SF okay, Oakland preferable), how would one ask for them if they weren't labeled? My mental health practitioner thanks you.
