Carnegie breakfast

How could I have missed this? I decided a few years ago that I do not like the lunchtime scene at Carnegie Deli, or the sandwiches particularly, and I have not been back since. But I was in the neighborhood this morning and it occurred to me to see whether their breakfasts are any better -- I got scrambled eggs with lox & onions and was quite happy with it. Excellent home fries were the best part of the meal; the eggs were good but would have been better if the onions were caramelized a bit more. The place is pretty quiet in the mornings, which I appreciate, and the waiters are friendly as opposed to frenetic, which they are at lunch time. Yes, it is also too expensive at breakfast.
