I am new here and having a great time reading posts (and trying not to reply too much and be intrusive). What fun. You guys know stuff! So I've been wondering about the carminative thing - or as DH calls them "de-pootifiers".
I came across a list of carminative herbs and seeds (on Wikipedia) some time ago and have been trying them. The best one I've tried that works and which tastes great is dill weed in cole slaw. The traditional Mexican epazote doesn't seem to work well in dried form, but has anybody had success? I have a bean-loving and veggie-loving hubby, and would appreciate any tried and true anti-gas herbs/seeds that work for you in your recipes.
