Of note, "E&R" (Haitian) just reopened in a pared-down space, but they had some deep-flavored oxtail and curry goat the last time we ate in.
New kid on the block is "IN BETWEEN EATRY & PASTRY" (catchy name) owned and operated by cordial and informative Trinidad-born Fran - had some earthy callaloo today and highly respectable oxtail with spinach-flecked rice and coconut bake last week. This could turn out to be a genuine sleeper on the Church Avenue Caribbean fringe.
