Capuccino in Camden

For my money, the best on the Maine coast is at Francine in Camden, Maine. The perfect ratio of foam to espresso, they dont keep the espresso drip running so the espresso doesnt get watered down or bitter, a nice golden hue to to the top of the foam, it all comes in a satisfying french cup, and you can sip it outside or inside, in the perfectly relaxing atmosphere of an out of the way cafe.

Oh yeah, and their food is great -- I had the saucisson sandwich -- meaty and dry salame, crunchy and fluffy baguette, generous portion, and a simple salad of fresh greens, with a tangy mustardy vinagrette. My mouth waters. The rest of the small menu looks intriguing . . . but I havent tried anything else yet.
