Tried this place last night. Found the place to be empty on a Friday night. Ate downstairs where there were more people at the bar and only a few tables occupied for dinner. Kinda like a livlier atmosphere. With that said the room was cozy and the waitstaff friendly and attentive. Started the meal w a Caesar salad w parmesan toast. Could taste the anchovy so a little overwhelming. The bread was a mix of warm foccacia and sourdough..yum. I ordered the swordfish and asked for double veggies instead of rice. It came w rice but the waiter quickly rectified. Veggies by the way were delicious. Mix of green beans, cauliflower, broccoli served very hot to order. The swordfish was just Ok, a little underdone for my taste. Hubs got a steak w garlic mashed and veggies. He asked for a medium steak and got a rare one. Sent it back and it came back perfect. Manager came over to apologize and they served us coffee and dessert on the house. Although we hit a few rough spots the restaurant seemed to bend over backwards to make us happy. We'll definately give it another shot. Many items to try.
