Caprese Salad

Serves 2-4

1 large ball of fresh mozzarella
Handful of fresh basil
2 large heirloom tomatoes
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella approx. 1/2 inch thick, and julienne the basil. Layer the mozzarella and tomato slices diagonally on a plate and sprinkle basil, salt and pepper over the top. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
