After reading that David A. Ross crowned this place the new best pizza place in the Triangle in IndyWeek, we had to go give it a try. We got the Margherita, pesto, pepperoni and hot honey, and a special of the day, a Korean themed pizza with kim chi, pork belly, and some other stuff. I also got a bowl of creamy sausage and kale soup. The pizzas are indeed good; the chef is adept at getting just the right level of char on the crusts. The soup was a bit watery and bland. Having also visited Pizzeria Toro recently, I have to disagree with David-- I still give the nod to Toro. The crusts are equal but I find the toppings at Toro to have more flavorful pop. Mercato or Napoli will be next.
