Capitol Hill Vietnamese

I wanted to make another pitch for the Pacific Grill, the Vietnamese restaurant that recently opened on Capitol Hill. They have fixed their service problems.

When my girlfriend and I recently went back, there was a very attentive hostess and waiter on duty. Unfortunately, there were almost no customers.

The food isn't as good as the Eden Center. Nonetheless, the food is good. It's probably one of the two or three best restaurants on Capitol Hill. We should make an effort to eat there and keep the place in business.

P.S. The menu lists fried chicken wings, describing them as "slided baby squids." This is not correct. They are fried chicken wings. They are not stuffed, battered, or even really spiced. Just fried. They are served with some sort of dipping sauce. So unless you're a fried-chicken strick constructionist, I would avoid this item and focus on other things. Like the spring roll and vermicelli bowl. Very tasty.
