I've eaten at the Capital Grille twice this trip. (When someone is paying, you let them pick.) I have to say the tenderloin caesar salad was excellent. The striped sea bass was good, but not as good as the beef. Their aged beef seems to be the claim to fame and they do it right. The creamed spinach was fabulous. The service was very professional and prompt. I thought the prices would be higher for the level of formality and service. The lunch salad was $15, the special sea bass was $18. The bowl of clam chowder is a deal at $6. You can't do it on a McDonald's budget, but it is worth the money if you're on N Michigan Ave doing shopping.
Tomorrow I may hit Bocca D'Oro. With all of the requests for restaurants in this area, I think we might as well review them.
