This may be a dumb question, but I am confused. I recently got back from a trip from Italy and while I was in Tuscany enjoyed a simple white bean dish that was quite common to the region "fagioli e olio" made with some white beans that I assumed were cannellini beans. It was basically just beans a s type of broth with rosemary. When I look for cannellini beans in the store, all that I can find are the canned kind, nothing dried. Is anyone familiar with this dish? Were the beans cannellini beans? If so where can I find dried beans? Thanks for any help in advance.
