I want to try making a pumpkin soup, but would prefer to avoid the labor intensive process of scooping out a pumpkin and separating the seeds. But the recipes I've been interested in all call for fresh pumpkin. Has anyone experimented with using canned instead? Does it really make that much of a difference in a soup? Sorry if this is an ignorant question! For most other veggies, I'd be inclined to say that yes, it makes a huge difference. I just want the easy way out, I guess! Thanks!
