Yesterday I wandered into a local grocery store that carries Spanish/Tropical/African goods. I bought a number of goodies I recognized and one I didn't - the proprietor's English wasn't great, while my Haitian is non-existant, so while he tried to help me, we mostly just smiled and nodded a lot.
Has anyone here ever used canned breadfruit nuts? What do I do with them? A quick google search yielded some nutritional info, a washington post note that right out of the can they don't taste very good, and a travelogue about how they taste like a cross between potatoes and peanuts.
Any hints? Thanks!
