We had another excellent dining experience at Campagnia, located in Fresno, CA. This time we chose to dine in the atrium room. It is gorgeous, very roomy with a waterfall in the back. I want to have our wedding rehearsal dinner here!
We brought a bottle of Pinot Noir from the Paschal winery around Ashland, OR. We started with the chicken & avocado stuffed spring rolls, servied with a dipping sauce that was very good and a side of very tasty and flavorful slaw. (I could be more specific in describing the menu itmes if I had a menu to look at while I write this.) The app was VERY good and I would defiitely order it again.
Next, we shared the butterleaf salad that was composed of butterleaf lettuce, strawberries, bleu cheese and pecans. It was excellent!
I had the salmon for my entree that was tender, fresh and very good. Served with cous cous and very beautifully presented. The best salmon I've had since my meal at Paley's Place in Portland, OR this summer.
DH had the chicken entree that he loves. No room for dessert, we had to make a movie. Again, Campagnia was wonderful. I want to try it for lunch sometime. I think I could become a weekly fixture here real fast!
Campagnia still is #1 on my Fresno restaurant list. Polar Bear, how was your recent meal here? ***kim***
