Does anyone out there know how I can make frosting flowers with multiple colors like the one on this link. (It's from the NY Times, so you must register, but it is free) I haven't done any work with a pastry bag, but I'd like to make these cupcakes (like the one with the flower) for a friend's baby shower. It's not until April, so I have plenty of time to practice.
I assume that you fill the pastry bag with different colored frosting, but I don't know if there are any tricks I should be aware of. I guess I'll follow the directions from the March Martha Stewart on the frosting flowers, but if anyone can tell me how to do the multi colored ones, I'd be grateful.
