Wandering through my local Kroger yesterday, I found a huge display of a beer called Caguama. Apparently, this is a pilsner imported from El Salvador by SAB Miller. But to me it caused a chuckle for two reasons:
1. "Caguama" is Mexican slang for a 40 oz. bottle of beer ... a quick way to get the night started (or finished).
2. It reminded me of a post a while back about "Cagueros" ... something entirely different.
Cristina, if you are reading this, I hope you also get a chuckle.
By the way, I didn't try the Salvadoran beer. If anyone has tried it, is it any good?
