While I was sad to read that Flourchild's Bakery https://www.chowhound.com/post/abiqui... closed this summer, a victim of the pandemic, the owner held out hope by saying that there had been considerable interest in the site. Googling for the address turned up Cafe Sierra Negra, the new occupant, that has a goal of opening by November 1, per its GoFundMe page. https://www.gofundme.com/f/cafe-sierr...

The owner, Melodie Milhoan, has been posting photos of her menu tasting on IG. https://www.instagram.com/cafesierran...

Please report in when you get a chance to try it!
