Restaurants & Bars

Cafe at Glory

Has anyone else tried the Cafe at Glory in Andover? It is attached to the restaurant of the same name and offers soups, salads and sandwiches - a desperately needed addition to Andover's lack of decent quick lunch places. I don't know if they just opened but I hadn't been in that area for quite a while, so they may have been around and I just didn't notice them.

Things we've tried in the past couple of weeks have been a delicious, tart Cherry Ginger soup (chilled), a decent Cubano, roasted veggie panini, baby arugula & pear salad with candied pecans and a yummy, spicy thai peanut chicken wrap. All thumbs up except the veggie panini, which was a bit bland, according to one of our office crew. The soups rotate daily and they usually have a special sandwich and chicken salad of the day. For desserts, they offer homemade cookies, brownies, poundcakes, etc. - also rotating daily. Sandwiches are set at $6.75 and salads around $7.

They've got a shaded area with tables next to the place; it seems like you order inside and the counterperson will bring your food out to you. Inside has a few tables but there's no A/C so on a hot day, it can be a bit stuffy.
