Best Cacio & Pepe in Rome?

arturop | Feb 26, 201901:29 AM     5

Hi all, so I have a bit of a culinary question for the locals and experienced travelers regarding Rome's best pasta dishes. In honor of the late Anthony Bourdain, I want to have the best possible Cacio and pepe in Rome during my next stay, and I need a bit of help deciding about the best place...

So, Tripadvisor's top recommendation is the (very conveniently named) Cacio e Pepe restaurant (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...), but with a 3.5 average grade, I'm not entirely convinced... The alternative is Felice a Testaccio (https://www.tasteatlas.com/FeliceATes...), which this website Taste Atlas has as its top pick for Cacio and pepe...

I'd appreciate any firsthand experiences or opinions about the best place for Cacio and Pepe. And about other traditional Italian foods, since I doubt we'll only eat that one day! Thanks in advance!
